I am not sure what is more surprising, that there have been 6 Fast & Furious movies or that the last one, Fast Five, was really good. In fact, I’m pretty sure this next installment will be pretty great too.

Returning to the caper are cast members Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez (whose character, Letty, was presumed dead), joined by newbies Gina Carano and singer Rita Ora (ugh).

Fast & Furious 6 sees fugitive Dominic Toretta (Diesel) team up with security agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson) to take down a mercenary organization.

Fast 6 opens in the United States May 24th and in Australia June 6th.

Trailer watch: Fast Five

It’s hard to believe this franchise has made it to five (yes, 5!!) installments … but the new Fast and Furious film, dubbed Fast Five, has premiered its trailer. It premiered on, of all places, Vin Diesel’s facebook page.

Fast Five sees returning franchise stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris in another explosive high speed chase packed with gratuitous TNA, cool cars and some South American flavor. This outing sees Walker and Diesel team up on the other side of the law as they try and escape bounty from a hard-nosed federal agent (played by Dwayne Johnson).

We can’t help but feel as if we’ve seen this movie four times before. Fast Five opens April 29, 2011.
