Tumbledown do Daytrotter

MxPx side project Tumbledown recently visited the Daytrotter studios to lay down some live renditions of their songs. You can check out their performances of tracks “Butcher of San Antone”, “State Line” and “Son of a Gun” right here.

Tumbledown is the country/western rock project of MxPx vocalist Mike Herrera. They recently released their new album, Empty Bottle, via End Sounds.

Video: Tumbledown’s “Arrested in El Paso Blues”

Bremerton based alt-country/rockabilly punk band Tumbledown have debuted the brand new video for their single “Arrested in El Paso Blues.”

The band features longtime MxPx bassist/vocalist Mike Herrera and will release their brand new album, Empty Bottle, this week. Tumbledown will be heading out on a month-long US tour starting October 30th in Bremerton with a Halloween-themed CD release party at Winterland. Tour dates below.

Video: Tumbledown – “Atlantic City”

TumbledownMike Herrera of MxPx fame enjoys the country side of music- as evidenced by his latest side project, dubbed Tumbledown. The country-tinged pop/punk strips down the aggressive nature of MxPx and adds a very twangy, Southern feel to it, and coupled with Herrera’s distinct voice, paints a very able, and spirited trek down Americana lane.
