The trailer for upcoming thriller film The Roommate has made its way online. Starring Minka Kelly and Leighton Meester, the film is about a freshman in college (Kelly) whose new roommate (Meester) we learn is a little on the crazy side.
We are not sure why they remade Single White Female, but we are sure that any film with both Minka Kelly AND Leighton Meester getting cozy together can’t entirely be a terrible thing. We are however, sure that this trailer looks cheesy as hell.
The Roommate was directed by Christian E. Christiansen and will see release in the United States February 2011. Until then you can just watch the current season of Gossip Girl and reruns of the first few Friday Night Lights to get your Blair Waldorf/Lyla Garrity fix. We still love you Lyla Garrity.
