Fans of the beat generation rejoice, the full trailer for the anticipated new film Kill Your Darlings has made its way online. Starring Daniel Radcliffe as Allen Ginsberg and Daan DeHaan as Lucien Carr, the film details David Kammerer’s murder by Carr, pulling together the great poets of the beat generation: Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, and William Burroughs.

Directed by John Krokidas from a script written by Krokidas and Austin Bunn, the film is set to feature at this year’s Toronto Film Festival before seeing limited release in October. Michael C. Hall, Elizabeth Olsen, Ben Foster and Jennifer Jason Leigh co-star.

Looks like a fascinating film and one with better traction than the disappointing adaptation of On The Road.

Harry Potter cast try to speak “American”

Harry Potter weekend is here and the excitement and anticipation for the final chapter is palpable. But instead of giving you a Harry Potter related article of substance and measure, we will instead give you this, the cast of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trying their best American accents. They also think Twilight blows.

New Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows featurette

With the final chapter of the Harry Potter saga just around the corner, excitement for the first part of the final film is running thick. Yahoo now has a brand new featurette (which you can view above) reminding audiences of the long, long tale we’ve all been taken on as the story comes to a close.

The featurette showcases footage from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 along with interviews with prominent cast and crew about the making and story of the final chapter. We are excited about the conclusion of the series, and from the trailers and bits and pieces we’ve seen, the last ride could be its most memorable.

The first half of the film makes its way into cinemas November 18th.

Trailer watch: New Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

The brand new trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has made its way online and can be viewed below. The final chapter of the Harry Potter saga is being split into two cinematic parts, with the first half hitting cinemas November 19th. The second half of the film will be released July 15th, 2011 and will mark the culmination of the Harry Potter film series.

Deathly Hallows was directed by David Yates and wraps up the adventure than began with 2001’s The Sorcerer’s Stone. The primary cast of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint reprise their roles one last time in the final battle against Lord Voldemort.

As the trailer unfolds, we see the immensely difficult task ahead for Potter and friends. Dark times have been foretold over the course of the last few films and its conclusion looks to be as unmissable as it is ominous. New to the cast, Bill Nighy (Underworld, The Boat that Rocked, Pirates of the Caribbean) and Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill) will play major roles through the final chapter’s plot.

Safe to say this is a film ending that will constitute as a global entertainment event.
