It feels a little like Oscar season with the first trailer for upcoming historical drama The Butler hitting the web. Ticking all the prerequisite boxes for a golden statuette, The Butler is the inspiring true story of Eugene Allen, who worked at the White House for more than 30 years.

Directed by Lee Daniels (Precious), The Butler features everyone under the sun. Led by Forest Whitaker, the film features Oprah Winfrey, Robin Williams, Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding Jr., John Cusack (as Richard Nixon?!), Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey (!!), Minka Kelly (yes!), Alan Rickman, Vanessa Redgrave, Liev Schreiber, Melissa Leo, James Marsden and everyone else who apparently, wasn’t busy.

The Butler opens this October.
