Good Festival Guide: Meredith Music Festival 2010

What: Meredith Music Festival, one of Australia’s longest running outdoor music festivals. Started as a small one-day event in 1991, the show now runs three days and attracts artists in the field of rock, indie, pop, hip hop.

Who: The Dirty Three, Washed Out, Little Red, Girls, Reverend Horton Heat, Clipse, Neil Finn, Custard, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, CW Stoneking, El Guincho, Sally Seltmann, Those Darlins, The Field, Jeff The Brotherhood, Hoss, Rat VS Possum, Cloud Control, The Fall, Broadcast, The Heatwave, Pantha Du Prince.

When: December 10 – 12, 2010

Where: Meredith, Victoria. Australia

Why you should go: See the countryside, Reverend Horton Heat, C.W. Stoneking, The Fall.

Why you shouldn’t go: Drugs, bogans, some not so great bands and lots and lots and lots of hippies.
